These were originally bought for my 92 year old mom. They are too stiff for her. She is accustomed to wearing a great shoe I found for her at SAS in 7W. I bought the 7 for her, didn't fit and she did't like, so bought the 8 which still didn't work -- but I like them. The only criticism is that the inside lining in synthetic, and if you have sweaty feet, you will feel more comfortable with socks. It has a nice arch in them which is hard to find in a pair of slippers. Still looking for a safe slipper for mom alas.
Advantages: Nice arch. Classy look.
Disadvantages: Synthetic lining not great for feet that sweat. Need to wear socks.
