The only shoe in the world, apparently, that is both deep and wide enough to contain the foot part of my KAFO...and believe me, I looked eveerywhere. Needed size 6 but XXX Wide and double deep with zero inserts left inside (too bad all the extra comfort has to be removed to make room). Had to have orthotist sand the soles because they were slippery as glass, a material he's never seen before.

I have the Krista boots already in black leather. I wear them everyday. The leather is so soft. Now I chose the suede black ones as more dressier.
Advantages: Great fit. Meet my orthopedic needs
Disadvantages: Price. But what can you do when you have problem feet!
