This is a lovely, graceful looking shoe and VERY comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot that is healthy. I have not worn heels for a long time, but I need a pair now for a wedding that will be held in a fruit orchard. It's a beautiful spot, but the ground is uneven. These wedges are perfect. They are a dressy metallic pewter. The medium width is wide enough for me. They have plenty of arch support. Since they are wedges, rather than heels, they'll help with balance on uneven ground. They are not too high, so I can adjust to them without back discomfort. I look forward to dancing in them! Thank you.

They're comfortable shoes, but would not recommend them. I will probably order from the Orthotic Shop again at a later date, but a different brand.
Disadvantages: The bottom of the shoes were not made for walking on smooth surfaces. They cause you to slide which is dangerous. I didn't realize I had bought a pair of "Softwalk" shoes last year from another company. After wearing them only once, the color on the toes rubbed off. I hope that doesn't happen to this pair.
