Description
Oboz Firebrand II Men's Waterproof Hiking Shoe with Support. Unnamed peaks in the Lower 48? Head to mile marker 203 on the edge of Glacier National Park, start hiking, and find out. You'll need traction and waterproofing for the snowfields, protection from the sticker brush, and stability for the scree and sheer mileage. Better take the Firebrand II. Model: 21301. Insole gives orthotic support. |

Yer gonna love this. I've bought 5 pair of Oboz Firebrands over the last 5 or so years; 3 pair from REI, 2 from Orthoticshop (GREAT SERVICE). I've put these shoes through the mill. From miles upon miles of hiking and backpacking, to day to day stuff, to doing a lot of hard yard work here in the Mojave Desert..., the shoes have shown outstanding service.
Advantages: Just all-around great shoes; except for one thing......
Disadvantages: ....if your rock-hoping around a stream or water, once the bottom of the shoe gets wet, it gets slippery. So be careful.

Love these shoes. This is my second pair. The shoes are a bit narrow so I order the wide and I could only find the right size at OrthotricShop. Great for ALL outdoor activity and everyday wear. Hiking, Golf, even snowshoed with them last weekend.
Advantages: Stiff sole. Great tread. Waterproof. Durable upper.
Disadvantages: Wished OthoticShop carried the other colors. They also shipped the shoes to my neighbors house.
