A combination of patented features in SmartKnit socks provides enhanced protection and comfort for neuropathic feet. SmartKnit socks are made the same way a caterpillar spins a cocoon, beginning at the toe and circling to the top.

This unique knitting process results in a sock that is completely free of seams and the risks of pressure points that seams can cause. UTHSC studies suggest pressure reduction benefit from seamless socks for people with diabetes. Knit-Rite has a patented use of high stretch corespun yarns creates a sock that fits like a second skin with no wrinkling or bunching, with soft, low-resistance/high-elongation stretch in every direction to minimize chances of circulation restriction.

Ultra soft DuPont CoolMax* and high bulk acrylic corespun yarns with Lycra spandex are designed to wick moisture for a healthier foot environment. Antimicrobrial process provides protection from bacterial and fungal growth in the sock environment for the life of the socks. The non-binding Halo top accommodates all shapes and sizes without slipping down the leg. Patients love the way SmartKnit socks feel on their feet.
